Roger Elliott, Karen Ford and Kate Hobson have been invited to join the Forum. Hopefully I have given them the information that they need to get in. I asked them to try entering the Form, through the tab, without joining which I assume that they won't be able to do?
I have then asked them to sign up and, when they are accepted as members (are they informed of this by email?) to go back in as a member to put their settings to receive all notifications. I realise that they will then need to use the Forum tab to see postings and add new ones - this will be different to what members are used to but I think (hope) the regular posters will cope.
I am also interested to see how any of us responds to a posting - I guess members will click to do so and be taken to the Forum site, will be interested to know if they have to login (remember their login if their computer does not do so) every time. This might be a bit of a pain but could be the cost of the more accessible form, on the other hand the vast majority of members who just read is there may not be affected too much
Welcome any comments. Our first success will eb when Roger, Karen and Kate can see this!
